Eddie Clendening & The Blue Ribbon Boys are raising the bar for authentic Rockabilly music. Though only in his early 20s, Eddie brings with him almost a decade of experience on the stage with early rock-n-roll greats like Scotty Moore, James Burton, Pat Cupp, Hayden Thompson, Billy Lee Riley and Jimmy Lee Fautheree. Contemporary period musicians are also taking notice of this explosive and handsome young front man. Eddie has toured with Deke Dickerson and was recently invited to sing at the Viva Las Vegas and Hemsby festivals with Go Cat Go, one the largest selling roots rock-n-roll groups in the 90s who tragically lost their singer in 1993.
Eddie has proved that his talent cannot be ignored. After so much hard work and help from some famous industry names, a full-length was produced and released in December 2004 under the title The Rage Of The Teen-Age!Several compilation releases followed as well as an upcoming full length release and a third album in the works
But personality and looks isn't just for the front man with this group, nor is the gift of musical ability. The Blue Ribbon Boys bring with them some very accomplished players in their own right and are quickly becoming respected as a solid, top-notch rhythm section: Chris Chew acoustic upright bass, Mark Millard drums, and Jeff Yeary rhythm guitar and powerful alternative vocals.
Eddie Clendening & The Blue Ribbon Boys are beginning to get the attention they deserve while working hard to spread the gospel of genuine American rock and roll.
